January Update
Let us introduce you to Antonio.
Antonio rang at our gate this past summer after hearing that I was a Baptist pastor who was planting a church in a the area. He was already a believer but was looking for a church to attend. He began attending our mid-week Bible studies in our home. It was refreshing to see his love for the Lord and his zeal to reach the lost. Antonio helped us distribute flyers for our opening service and attended our first service with his wife Juana.
Through our weekly Bible study, the Lord has allowed us to correct some doctrinal matters that Antonio wasn't clear on. What a blessing to see him growing through the Word of God.
This man has been a constant encouragement to our team. He joins us for every evangelistic outreach, witnesses to his friends and family, and never misses a church service or Bible study.
Antonio has been a gift from God. To have someone like Antonio to join up with us as we started the church has been a blessing. There have been Sunday's where aside from our team, he has been the only one in attendance. But he is there with a joyful spirit and the Lord encourages our hearts.
The Lord has also brought another family to church. The grandmother (Lucía) arrived for a three month visit and attended church on her first Sunday. Her daughter (Claudia) is a believer, but her son-in-law, grandson, and granddaughter are not. Claudia cares for an Alzheimer's patient, but her husband will stay with the patient so that Claudia can join her mom and daughter for Sunday service. Please join us in praying for the salvation of Roberto (Claudia's husband), Renata (Claudia's daughter), and Roberto (Claudia's son). What a blessing to see a grandmother's desire for her family to be in church.
